A: The web site migration service that we are offering is free of cost (to a certain extent). We’ll migrate your website(s) to our top–tier cloud hosting platform without you needing to do anything. We know from experience that changing web hosting providers can lead to lost information and unnecessary network downtime. For this reason, we will perform all that for you for free!We’ve got capable administrators whose sole job is to ensure that your site works precisely as it did on your previous web hosting platform. The administrators are experts in migrating custom–built web sites, as well as web sites that are based upon popular scripts like Joomla^™ and WordPress.

A: While we cannot give you a precise time interval, because there are a lot of factors, among them the size of the files and databases, the location of the present host’s server, the complexity of your web site and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will do our best to move your site within 48h, and in some cases – within 24h (when the content is not very large).

A: Yes. We will need to have the name of the site that you want us to transfer. We will also require a means to log in to your old web hosting account so that we can get the content pertaining to your web site.

A: Customer privacy is one of our foremost responsibilities – that is why, both our payment page and our Control Panel login page are secured with enterprise–grade Secure Sockets Layer certificates. We use security measures, which include, but are not limited to: physical, digital and managerial procedures to safeguard the information that we accumulate on the web. And we have a very detailed and strict Privacy Policy, which outlines the types of information that we gather.

A: Your website will continue to work just like it did before with your previous web hosting provider. After we have finished the migration, your site will be configured to work on our hosting platform and we’ll ask you to preview it. If it is functioning properly, all you will need to do is edit the name server records pertaining to your domain. Your web site will be migrated over to us with no downtime.

A: No. We’ll never contact your hosting provider about anything. They won’t be aware of the web site migration either.

A: Yup. We support all standard Linux–based hosting platforms. We do not support Windows–based web hosting platforms, since we don’t offer Windows hosting solutions ourselves.Additionally, we don’t support proprietary site building and administration tools such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
